Leadership by Example

Leadership starts with a role model.  We teach our students that one of the best ways to lead is by example.  Our leadership students take their role as examples for other students seriously.  They understand that as leaders they must always perform their very best in every situation. This group of students is always surprising their fellow students and instructors with the level of understanding they have with regards to how other look up to them.  When you become a leader in the ATA the possibilities for your growth both in an out of martial arts become endless.

Leaders Communicate

Leaders must effectively communicate their vision.  By sharing that vision through effective communication, and using positive interpersonal skills, leaders can motivate people to accomplish extraordinary things! In today’s ever changing environment, being able to communicate your ideas the correct way is becoming more and more important.  Every ATA leader learns how to confidently stand in front of a group and present their ideas effectively.  They learn how to speak clearly, and command a room no matter who the audience.
